Kendra Scott is the founder, executive chairwoman and chief visionary officer, bestselling author, and philanthropist behind the billion-dollar fashion lifestyle brand she started in 2002 with only $500 and a tea box. Today, Kendra Scott boasts over 3,200 employees and more than 170 standalone stores, offering a diverse range of products, including fashion, demi-fine and fine jewelry, watches, engagement rings, home accessories, a men’s collection and the western-inspired brand Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott.

With a commitment to innovation, quality, and philanthropy, Scott has donated over $70 million in monetary and in-kind contributions since 2010 to causes supporting women and youth. Her philanthropic initiatives include the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (KS WELI), founded in 2019 at The University of Texas at Austin to empower the next generation of female entrepreneurs, among others, including Kendra Cares, a program that brings custom jewelry-making experiences to pediatric hospital patients and their caregivers, and the Yellow Library initiative, which outfits Title I schools with custom bookshelves, grants and diverse bilingual books. In 2023, she launched the Kendra Scott Foundation, focusing on women and youth health, wellness, education and entrepreneurship.

Scott is a permanent Shark on ABC’s Emmy® Award-winning show “Shark Tank” and serves on the board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She continues to lead her company from Austin, Texas, where she resides with her family.
