R.J. Decker on ABC’s “R.J. Decker”

Scott Speedman stars in the lead role of ABC’s “R.J. Decker,” which follows former newspaper photographer and ex-con R.J. Decker, who reinvents himself as a private investigator in South Florida. He can also be seen as Dr. Nick Marsh on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.” He first joined the series as a guest star in 2018 before reprising the role and continues to be a prominent recurring presence throughout the series.

In television, Speedman is widely known for his breakout role as Ben Covington on the Golden Globe®-nominated series “Felicity,” which ran for four seasons, opposite Keri Russell. He later starred in ABC’s “Last Resort” and TNT’s “Animal Kingdom,” alongside Ellen Barkin, where he played her trusted second-in-command in the critically acclaimed crime drama.

Most recently in film, Speedman can be seen in David Cronenberg’s “Crimes of the Future,” opposite Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux and Kristen Stewart, which premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, as well as Lionsgate’s thriller “Cellar Door.” Prior to that, he was featured in Lena Dunham’s “Sharp Stick,” which debuted at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival; Lina Roessler’s “Best Sellers,” opposite Aubrey Plaza and Michael Caine; and Ricky Tollman’s “Run This Town,” opposite Ben Platt, Mena Massoud, Nina Dobrev and Damian Lewis.
