‘Dancing with the Stars’ Sails to 7 Million Total Viewers on ‘Yacht Rock Night’
Week Three Is Best Non-Finale Episode in Six Years
‘R.J. Decker’ Grows to Season High in Early Numbers at 10 p.m. — Up +20% Over Season Average

- Building momentum in week three, “Dancing with the Stars” scored 7.12 million Total Viewers on this week’s “Yacht Rock Night,” cruising to a multiyear high with the show’s best non-season finale episode in six years — since the Season 29 premiere (9/14/20).
- “Dancing with the Stars” rose over its prior Tuesday average by +11% (7.12 million vs. 6.44 million) on a competitive night up against the MLB Wild Card Game on NBC (New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox) — standing as the top entertainment program of the night.
- At 10 p.m., “R.J. Decker” hit a season high in early Live+Same Day Panel Only numbers with 3.20 million Total Viewers, rising +20% over the show’s current season average in the first two weeks (vs. 2.63 million).

On next week’s “Dancing with the Stars” (Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu), the ballroom turns up the star power as the 12 remaining couples take on “Mariah Carey Night,” with the celebrities and their pro partners dancing to the iconic songs from the legendary singer-songwriter.
