‘Dancing with the Stars’ Scores Historic Growth in Week Four

Show’s Annual ‘Disney Night’ Dazzles With Nearly 6 Million Total Viewers — Enjoying Third Straight Week of Growth Since Season Premiere

“Dancing with the Stars” (8 p.m. ET/PT)

  • “Dancing with the Stars” continued to shine this season with the show’s annual “Disney Night,” earning 5.88 million Total Viewers and a 1.26 rating among Adults 18-49, hitting a new season high in both measures and once again dominating the Tuesday 8-10 p.m. time period.     
  • Remarkably, “Dancing with the Stars” rose for the third straight week following its season premiere, for the first time in the show’s history, in both Total Viewers (+1% – 5.88 million vs. 5.82 million) and Adults 18-49 (+2% – 1.26 rating vs. 1.23 rating).
  • “Dancing with the Stars” viewership via the Disney+ livestream hit a new all-time high globally with Disney Night (based on views).*
  • Once again, “Dancing with the Stars” was the 1 most social television program across broadcast and cable, earning 2.3 million total social interactions.
  • Fan voting also jumped week to week, reaching a new high of 45 million votes cast (+15% vs. 39 million votes cast on 9/30).

High Potential (10 p.m. ET/PT)

  • In its Live+Same Day performance, “High Potential” hit another season high with 4.51 million Total Viewers, ABC’s best 10 p.m. drama telecast in nearly five years — since 11/9/20 with “The Good Doctor.”
  • In addition, the season premiere episode has now garnered nearly 19 million Total Viewers across linear and streaming on ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms through 10/8/25.

“Dancing with the Stars” returns Tuesday, Oct. 14, for “Dedication Night” (airing at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu). Ten remaining couples take to the ballroom floor to pay tribute to the influential people in their lives with moving and meaningful performances. Special guest judge Kym Johnson returns to offer her expert insights.
