Thursday Night Heats Up as ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ and ‘9-1-1’ Soar to Best Performance of the Season

Freshman Drama ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Jumps to 6 Million Total Viewers Over Three Days After Hitting Series High in Live+Same Day Viewership

Hot on the heels of their renewals, ABC’s “9-1-1: Nashville” (9 p.m. ET/PT) and “9-1-1” (8 p.m. ET/PT) rose to season highs in Live+Same Day viewership while also notching impressive gains over three days of multiplatform viewing on ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.

  • On a competitive night that included March Madness on CBS and MLB opening night on NBC, freshman drama “9-1-1: Nashville” rose to 6.23 million Total Viewers, jumping over its initial Live+Same Day series high (+55%; vs. 4.02 million) through three days of multiplatform viewing.
  • On linear over three days, “9-1-1: Nashville” delivered 5.34 million Total Viewers, nearly matching the show’s previous season high in January (5.47 million on 1/29/26).
  • Kicking off the night at 8 p.m., “9-1-1” scored 7.33 million Total Viewers, rising over its initial Live+Same Day season high (+53%; vs. 4.80 million).
  • On linear over three days, “9-1-1” earned 5.94 million Total Viewers, also nearly matching the show’s previous season high in January (6.10 million on 1/29/26).

On this week’s “9-1-1” (Thursday, April 2, at 8 p.m. on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu), the 118 must account for every decision made during a recent fire call when the team’s actions are investigated for possible mistakes. Meanwhile, Buck works behind the scenes to support his team as he waits to learn if he can return to the station. Then at 9 p.m. on “9-1-1: Nashville,” Blue and Dixie remain at odds, with Dixie skipping Blue’s birthday. A 9-1-1 call turns into a murder investigation, and Cammie takes responsibility to help solve it. Meanwhile, a fertility clinic loses power, putting its contents at risk.
