Craig Erwich
President, Disney Television Group
Craig Erwich is president of Disney Television Group, overseeing a portfolio of iconic brands and studios, including ABC Entertainment, 20th Television, 20th Television Animation and Hulu Originals. With responsibility for both a major broadcast network, a portfolio of award-winning streaming shows and television’s most prolific studios, Erwich leads a unified creative strategy that fuels streaming growth, strengthens Disney’s global content library, and delivers beloved storytelling to audiences across multiple platforms.
Erwich oversees one of the industry’s broadest and most successful television portfolios, including scripted and unscripted series, late-night, live events, documentaries, specials, adult animation and stand-up. This includes acclaimed and fan-favorites shows such as “Abbott Elementary,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Family Guy,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “High Potential,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “Paradise,” “The Kardashians,” “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and “The Simpsons,” among many others.
In 2025, ABC claimed the top six broadcast entertainment series among Adults 18-49, including the No. 1 drama, comedy and alternative series. The network also remained the premier destination for live events and specials, with “97th Academy Awards®” ranking as the year’s No. 1 entertainment telecast. Across streaming, Disney+ and Hulu were home to seven of the 10 most-watched series of the year, three of which were produced by the studios under Erwich’s leadership.
Erwich has led ABC Entertainment since 2021. In 2026, he added oversight of 20th Television and 20th Television Animation to his remit, bringing network programming and world-class television production together under a single creative and strategic vision.
Since 2014, Erwich has been at the helm of content development and strategy for Hulu’s original series. He is responsible for the diverse slate of Hulu’s premium content, including the Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award-winning “The Handmaid’s Tale,” the first-ever series on a streaming service to take home both awards in the drama series category. Prior to that, Erwich served as the EVP of Warner Horizon Television (WHTV), a division of Warner Bros. Television Group, where he oversaw development, production and business operations. Before joining WHTV, he served as EVP of Programming at FOX Broadcasting Company for 12 years, where he was instrumental in the development of hit series such as “24,” “House,” “Prison Break” and “The O.C.”
