‘Dancing with the Stars’ Scores With Show’s ‘Super Bowl Night’

It was game time in the ballroom this week as the remaining “Dancing with the Stars” couples performed songs made famous by some of the most iconic Super Bowl performances throughout the years. ESPN “Monday Night Football”’s Joe Buck joined the judges panel for the festive night, in which “Dancing with the Stars” scored 6.59 million Total Viewers and a 1.56 rating among Adults 18-49.

• “Dancing with the Stars” rose week to week in Total Viewers (+2% – 6.59 million vs. 6.44 million) and by double digits in Adults 18-49 (+11% – 1.56 rating vs. 1.41 rating).
• In fact, among Adults 18-49, “Dancing with the Stars” grew for the fourth telecast in a row, hitting a season high and posting the show’s best non-finale episode in over nine years — since “A Night at the Movies” on 5/1/17.
• “Dancing with the Stars” stood as the No. 1 show of the night, leading Tuesday’s No. 2 show by double digits in Total Viewers (+11% – 6.59 million vs. 5.92 million for CBS’s “NCIS”) while nearly doubling the night’s No. 2 telecast among Adults 18-49 (+95% – 1.56 rating vs. 0.80 rating for the MLB ALCS Game 2 on TBS).
• “Dancing with the Stars” was the 1 most-social television program across broadcast and cable with 2.9 million total social interactions.

• In addition, fan voting continues to build this season with over 70 million votes cast during Super Bowl Night.

“Dancing with the Stars” “Super Bowl Night” continues the synergy integration plans within Disney surrounding this year’s Super Bowl, which will air on ABC,  ESPN and Disney+ Sunday, February 14, 2027.

On next week’s “Dancing with the Stars” (Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu), the ballroom gets personal on “Dedication Night” as the 10 remaining couples take to the dance floor to deliver heartfelt performances honoring the influential people and places that have shaped their lives. Special guest judge Kym Johnson returns to offer her expert insights.
