‘20/20’ IMPROVES ON THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49, HITTING AN 8-WEEK HIGH IN THE KEY ADULT NEWS DEMO
‘20/20’ Turns in Double-Digit Gains Year to Year Across the Board
‘20/20’ Ranks No. 1 in the Two-Hour Time Period in Adults 25-54 Versus CBS and NBC

ABC News’ “20/20: The Hunt for Mr. Right” averaged 2.618 million Total Viewers, 437,000 Adults 25-54 and 262,000 Adults 18-49 on Friday, Jan. 16, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “20/20” improved on the previous week in Adults 25-54 (+15% – 437,000 vs. 380,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% – 262,000 vs. 252,000), hitting an 8-week high in the key Adult news demo — since 11/21/25.
- “20/20” turned in double-digit gains year to year across the board: Total Viewers (+28% – 2.618 million vs. 2.044 million), Adults 25-54 (+43% – 437,000 vs. 306,000) and Adults 18-49 (+39% – 262,000 vs. 189,000).
- “20/20” ranked No. 1 in its two-hour time period in Adults 25-54 (437,000) versus CBS (232,000 with encores of “Sheriff Country”/”Boston Blue”) and NBC (384,000 million with “Dateline”).
- Season to date, “20/20” leads “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+5%/+155,000 – 3.302 million vs. 3.147 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
