‘20/20’ IS THE MOST-WATCHED IN ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49 IN TIME PERIOD VS. CBS AND NBC

‘20/20’ Hits Season Highs and Posts Strongest Numbers in Both Key Adult Demos in 5 Months

ABC News’ “20/20: The Final Cut” averaged 2.552 million Total Viewers, 491,000 Adults 25-54 and 319,000 Adults 18-49 on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “20/20” ranked No. 1 in its two-hour time period in Adults 25-54 (491,000) and Adults 18-49 (319,000) versus CBS (362,000 and 217,000, respectively, with “Fire Country”/”Boston Blue”) and NBC (284,000 and 214,000, respectively, with “Dateline”).
- “20/20” outperformed NBC’s “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+31%/+597,000 – 2.552 million vs. 1.955 million), Adults 25-54 (+73%/+207,000 – 491,000 vs. 284,000) and Adults 18-49 (+49%/+105,000 – 319,000 vs. 214,000) to rank as Friday’s No. 1 newsmagazine across the board. In addition, “20/20” scored its largest Adults 25-54 lead over the NBC program in 1 year — since 11/22/24, based on regular telecasts.
- “20/20” posted substantial increases week to week across the board: Total Viewers (+20% – 2.552 million vs. 2.132 million), Adults 25-54 (+84% – 491,000 vs. 267,000) and Adults 18-49 (+98% – 319,000 vs. 191,000), hitting season highs in both key Adult demos. In fact, “20/20” posted its strongest numbers in both key Adult demos in 5 months — since 5/30/25.
- “20/20” turned in double-digit gains versus its corresponding year-ago telecast in Adults 25-54 (+38% – 491,000 vs. 357,000) and Adults 18-49 (+32% – 319,000 vs. 242,000).
- Season to date, “20/20” leads “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+16%/+348,000 – 2.485 million vs. 2.137 million), Adults 25-54 (+4%/+14,000 – 366,000 vs. 352,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3%/+7,000 – 247,000 vs. 240,000).
