On Sunday, March 29, 2026, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.566 million) for the ninth consecutive week, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “This Week” Total Viewer victory marked the program’s longest run at No. 1 in more than 2½ years — since 7/9/23-9/3/23.
  • Season to date, “This Week” ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.790 million) for the 5th season in a row, leading NBC’s “Meet the Press” (2.639 million) and CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 (2.759 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings. In addition, “This Week” is beating the NBC program by its largest overall viewer lead (+151,000) in 29 years — since the 1996-1997 season.

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.952 million) during the 1st quarter of 2026, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

  • “This Week” took the top spot during a 1st quarter for the third time in the last five years, also leading in 1Q24 and 1Q22.  
  • “This Week” posted double-digit increases versus the previous quarter (4Q25) in both Total Viewers (+13% – 2.952 million vs. 2.610 million) and Adults 25-54 (+12% – 415,000 vs. 372,000).  “This Week” drew its largest overall audience during a quarter in 5 years — since 1Q21.
  • “This Week” was up versus the year-ago quarter (1Q25) in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.952 million vs. 2.867 million), seeing its most-watched 1st quarter in 5 years — since 1Q21.
  • “This Week” (2.952 million and 415,000, respectively) outperformed CBS’ “Face the Nation 1 and 2” (2.868 million and 383,000, respectively) by its largest quarter margin in Total Viewers (84,000) in 5 quarters and biggest lead in Adults 25-54 (+32,000) in 6 quarters — since 4Q24 and 3Q24, respectively.
  • “This Week” (2.952 million) outperformed NBC’s “Meet the Press” (2.804 million) by 148,000 Total Viewers, posting its biggest quarter advantage over the NBC program in four quarters — since 1Q25.

George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.”

ABC News’ “Nightline” ranking No. 1 in Total Viewers (936,000), for the week of March 23, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, defeating NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

  • “Nightline” improved on the previous week by double digits in Adults 25-54 (+12% – 151,000 vs. 135,000) and Adults 18-49 (+15% – 100,000 vs. 87,000).
  • “Nightline” posted year-to-year increases in Total Viewers (+13% – 936,000 vs. 831,000), Adults 25-54 (+9% – 151,000 vs. 139,000) and Adults 18-49 (+19% – 100,000 vs. 84,000).
  • Season to date, “Nightline” (989,000) leads NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (986,000) in Total Viewers. In addition, “Nightline” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 989,000 vs. 983,000) versus the comparable weeks last season.

NOTE: On Friday (3/27/26), NBC’s “Seth Meyers” was retitled to “Seth Meyers-SM.” NBC’s weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).

  • “20/20” posted double-digit gains versus the previous quarter (4Q25) across the board: Total Viewers (+25% – 4.023 million vs. 3.213 million), Adults 25-54 (33% – 673,000 vs. 503,000) and Adults 18-49 (+34% – 463,000 vs. 347,000). “20/20” drew its largest overall audience during a quarter in two years — since 1Q24.
