‘This Week with George Stephanopoulos’ Ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers for the Second Consecutive Quarter With Its Biggest Lead in 8 Years
‘20/20’ Ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 for the Second Quarter in a Row Delivering Largest Margin in 11 Years

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.660 million) during the 2nd Quarter of 2026, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings, taking the top spot for the second quarter in a row
- “This Week” improved on the year-ago quarter (2Q25) in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.660 million vs. 2.574 million), turning in its most-watched second quarter in 3 years — since 2Q23. In addition, “This Week” stood as the only Sunday public affairs program to grow in Total Viewers versus the same quarter last year.
- “This Week” (2.660 million and 349,000, respectively) outperformed CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 (2.470 million and 322,000, respectively) by its largest 2nd quarter lead in 8 years in Total Viewers and in 3 years in Adults 25-54 — since 2Q18 and 2Q23, respectively. In addition, it was “This Week”’s largest lead in Total Viewers during any quarter in nearly 2 years — since 3Q24.
George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Jon Schlosberg is the executive producer.

ABC News’ “20/20” ranked as Friday’s No. 1 newsmagazine during the 2nd Quarter 2026 in Total Viewers (3.806 million) and Adults 18-49 (473,000), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings, leading NBC’s “Dateline” (3.230 million and 470,000, respectively) in both measures.
- “20/20” turned in its largest lead over NBC’s “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+576,000) during a 2nd quarter in 11 years — since 2Q15.
- “20/20” posted double-digit gains versus the year-ago quarter (2Q25) across the board: Total Viewers (+11% – 3.806 million vs. 3.424 million), Adults 25-54 (18% – 676,000 vs. 574,000) and Adults 18-49 (+23% – 473,000 vs. 386,000). “20/20” drew its largest overall audience during a 2nd quarter in 5 years — since 2Q21.
- “20/20” was up versus the previous quarter (1Q26) in Adults 18-49 (+2% – 473,000 vs. 463,000) with its strongest performance in 5 quarters — since 1Q25.
