On Sunday, July 12, 2026, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.810 million) and Adults 25-54 (420,000) for the second straight week, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “This Week” improved on the week-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+8% – 2.810 million vs. 2.593 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% – 342,000 vs. 314,000).  The ABC program drew its largest overall audience in 11 weeks and posted its strongest Adults 18-49 performance in nearly 6 months – since 4/26/26 and 1/25/26, respectively.
  • “This Week” posted double-digit gains year to year in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+18% – 2.810 million vs. 2.386 million), Adults 25-54 (+32% – 420,000 vs. 319,000) and Adults 18-49 (+71% – 342,000 vs. 200,000).
  • Season to date, “This Week” ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.753 million) for the 5th season in a row, leading NBC’s “Meet the Press” (+148,000; vs. 2.605 million) and CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 (+80,000; vs. 2.673 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
  • In fact, “This Week” is increasing its Total Viewer leads over NBC (+164% – 148,000 vs. 56,000) and CBS (+471% – 80,000 vs. 14,000) by triple digits compared to the same point last season. Further, “This Week” is delivering its largest overall viewer lead over NBC’s “Meet the Press” in 30 years — since the 1995-1996 season.
  • In addition, “This Week” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.753 million vs. 2.724 million), standing as the only Sunday public affairs program to grow in overall viewers.

George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.” Jon Schlosberg is the executive producer.

ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (880,000), Adults 25-54 (131,000) and Adults 18-49 (95,000) for the week of July 6, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

  • “Nightline” posted gains week to week in Total Viewers (+6% – 880,000 vs. 828,000), Adults 25-54 (+19% – 131,000 vs. 110,000) and Adults 18-49 (+19% – 95,000 vs. 80,000).
  • “Nightline” saw gains year to year in Total Viewers (+11% – 880,000 vs. 795,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% – 95,000 vs. 87,000), growing its overall audience for the third week in a row.
  • Season to date, “Nightline” is up in Total Viewers (+3% – 984,000 vs. 951,000) versus the same point last season.

NOTE: For the week, NBC’s “Seth Meyers” was retitled to “Seth Meyers-SM” due to being repeats. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the season averages.

ABC News’ “20/20: House of Cards” averaged 2.380 million Total Viewers, 336,000 Adults 25-54 and 235,000 Adults 18-49 on Friday, July 10, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading NBC’s “Dateline” (2.084 million) to rank as Friday’s No. 1 newsmagazine in Total Viewers.

  • “20/20” improved on the year-ago telecast by double digits in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+23% – 2.380 million vs. 1.938 million), Adults 25-54 (+29% – 336,000 vs. 261,000) and Adults 18-49 (+36% – 235,000 vs. 173,000).
  • Season to date, “20/20” leads “Dateline” in Total Viewers (+17%/+543,000 – 3.727 million vs. 3.184 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings. In addition, “20/20” is improving versus the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+6%/+215,000 – 3.727 million vs. 3.512 million).
