FOR ONE MONTH STRAIGHT, ‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS YEAR TO YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49

‘GMA’ Narrows Its Margins With NBC Week to Week by Double Digits in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

“Good Morning America”
“Good Morning America” averaged 2.799 million Total Viewers, 451,000 Adults 25-54 and 327,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of June 22, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • For the fourth week in a row, “GMA” improved on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.799 million vs. 2.708 million) and Adults 18-49 (+18% – 327,000 vs. 278,000).
  • “GMA” narrowed its margins with “Today” week to week by double digits in both Adults 25-54 (-23% – 177,000 vs. 229,000) and Adults 18-49 (-44% – 73,000 vs. 131,000).
  • “GMA” (2.799 million, 451,000 and 327,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.656 million, 253,000 and 174,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.143 million), Adults 25-54 (+198,000) and Adults 18-49 (+153,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,431 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
  • Season to date, “GMA” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.853 million vs. 2.831 million) and Adults 18-49 (+8% – 334,000 vs. 308,000) compared to the same point last year.

2nd Quarter 2026
ABC’s “Good Morning America” averaged 2.843 million Total Viewers, 470,000 Adults 25-54 and 335,0000 Adults 18-49 for the 2nd quarter of 2026, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” saw gains on the year-ago quarter (2Q25) in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.843 million vs. 2.843 million) and Adults 18-49 (+13% – 336,000 vs. 298,000).
  • “GMA” (2.843 million, 470,000 and 3353,000, respectively) beat “CBS This Morning” (1.754 million, 284,000 and 186,000, respectively) during 2Q26 in Total Viewers (+1.089 million), Adults 25-54 (+186,000) and Adults 18-49 (+150,000). In fact, “GMA” delivered its largest Total Viewer lead during a 2nd Quarter in 11 years and its biggest advantage in both key Adult demos in 4 years — since 2Q15 and 2Q22, respectively.

“GMA3” averaged 1.364 million Total Viewers, 134,000 Women 25-54 and 95,000 Women 18-49 during the week of June 22, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA3” improved on the previous week in Women 25-54 (+6% – 134,000 vs. 126,000) with its strongest performance in more than 3 months — since w/o 3/2/26.
  • For the fourth week running, “GMA3” saw year-to-year increases in Women 25-54 (+14% – 134,000 vs. 118,000) and Women 18-49 (+6% – 95,000 vs. 90,000).
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+4% – 1.423 million vs. 1.372 million) and Women 18-49 (+9% – 100,000 vs. 92,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

2nd Quarter 2026
ABC’s “GMA3” averaged 1.356 million Total Viewers, 124,000 Women 25-54, and 98,000 Women 18-49 during the 2nd quarter of 2026, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research, beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers.

  • “GMA3” was up over the year-ago quarter (2Q25) in Women 18-49 (+1% – 98,000 vs. 97,000).
