‘GMA3: What You Need To Know’ Ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers for 5th Week in a Row
Hitting a Season High in Overall Viewers, ‘GMA3’ Attracts Its Largest Audience in Nearly 1 Year
‘GMA3’ Grows Week to Week Across the Board: Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49
“GMA3: What You Need to Know” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.612 million) during the week of Jan. 15, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data Nielsen Media Research, leading “NBC News Daily” and CBS’ “The Talk” for the 5th week in a row.
For the 2nd week in a row, “GMA3” improved on the previous week in Total Viewers (+9% – 1.612 million vs. 1.485 million), Women 25-54 (+7% – 147,000 vs. 138,000) and Women 18-49 (+8% – 100,000 vs. 93,000.), hitting a season high in overall viewers. In fact, “GMA3” attracted its largest overall audience in its most-watched week in nearly 1 year —since w/o 1/30/23.
On Tuesday (1/16/24), “GMA3” scored its most-watched telecast (1.807 million) in over 1 year — 12/15/22.
“GMA3” widened its Total Viewers lead week to week over “NBC News Daily” by 5% (173,000 vs. 165,000) to its largest in 6 weeks — since w/o 12/4/23.
Season to date, “GMA3” ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers versus CBS’ “The Talk” and “NBC News Daily.”
NOTE: On Monday (1/15/24), CBS’ “The Talk” was coded as a breakout due to NFL. The breakout telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “The Talk”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).
