‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ DELIVERS 2.9 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS FOR THE WEEK

‘GMA’ Outperforms CBS Across the Board for the Week; Leads in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for 1,410 Consecutive Weeks

“Good Morning America”

“Good Morning America” averages 2.863 million Total Viewers, 510,000 Adults 25-54 and 339,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of Jan. 19, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” narrowed its margins with “Today” year to year in Adults 25-54 (-42% – 99,000 vs. 172,000) and Adults 18-49 (-55% – 64,000 vs. 141,000).
  • “GMA” (2.863 million, 339,000 and 510,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.897 million, 329,000 and 189,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+966,000), Adults 25-54 (+181,000) and Adults 18-49 (+150,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,410 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

NOTE: On Monday (1/19/26), all three programs were coded as specials due to the Martin Luther King holiday. The specialed telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. ABC’s, CBS’ and NBC’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).

“GMA3” averaged 1.481 million Total Viewers, 130,000 Women 25-54 and 93,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Jan. 19, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading “NBC News Daily” across the board.

  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+4% – 1.406 million vs. 1.357 million), Women 25-54 (+2% – 127,000 vs. 125,000) and Women 18-49 (+15% – 101,000 vs. 88,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

NOTE: On Monday (1/19/26), “GMA3” was coded as a special, while “NBC News Daily” was coded as a breakout. On Tuesday (1/20/26), “NBC News Daily” was retitled to “NBC News Daily-ND.” The specialed, breakout and retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. ABC’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday), and NBC’s weekly averages are based on three days (Wednesday-Friday)
