‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ DELIVERS 3 MILLION VIEWERS, GROWS WEEK TO WEEK ACROSS THE BOARD
‘GMA’ Scores Its 2nd-Best Performance of the Season and 2nd-Most-Watched Week in 1 Year
‘GMA’ Outperforms CBS With Its Largest Total Viewer Lead in 7 Years; Leads in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for 1,414 Consecutive Weeks

“Good Morning America”
“Good Morning America” averages 2.952 million Total Viewers, 490,000 Adults 25-54 and 352,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of Feb. 16, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research during the second week of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
- “GMA” improved on the previous week in Total Viewers (+2% – 2.952 million vs. 2.906 million), Adults 25-54 (+3% – 490,000 vs. 475,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% – 352,000 vs. 338,000), hitting its 2nd-best performance of the season in Total Viewers. In fact, “GMA” turned in its 2nd-most-watched week in 1 year — since w/of 2/17/25.
- “GMA” narrowed its margins with “Today” week to week in Adults 25-54 (-34% – 147,000 vs. 222,000) and Adults 18-49 (-50% – 60,000 vs. 119,000).
- “GMA” (2.952 million, 490,000 and 352,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.707 million, 272,000 and 178,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.245 million), Adults 25-54 (+218,000) and Adults 18-49 (+174,000). In fact, “GMA” posted its largest Total Viewer lead over the CBS program in 7 years — since w/o 2/25/169. In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,414 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
NOTE: On Monday (2/16/26), “Good Morning America” and “CBS Mornings” were coded as specials, while “Today” was retitled to “Today-TS” for Presidents Day. In addition, on Friday (2/20/26), “CBS Mornings” was retitled to “CBS Morn.” The specialed and retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. “Good Morning America”’s and “Today”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday), and “CBS Mornings”’s weekly averages are based on three days (Tuesday-Thursday).

“GMA3” averaged 1.508 million Total Viewers, 116,000 Women 25-54 and 87,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Feb. 16, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “GMA3” was up week to week in Total Viewers (1.508 million vs. 1.505 million).
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+5% – 1.447 million vs. 1.372 million), Women 25-54 (+2% – 129,000 vs. 126,000) and Women 18-49 (+13% – 101,000 vs. 89,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
NOTE: For the week, “NBC News Daily” was preempted because of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. On Monday (2/16/26), “GMA3” was coded as a special. The telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “GMA3”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).
