‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ DELIVERS LARGEST ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49 PERFORMANCE IN 4 WEEKS

GMA’ Stands as the Only Morning Newscast To Grow Year to Year Across the Board

‘GMA’ Outdelivers CBS Across the Board for the Week; Leads in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for 1,407 Consecutive Weeks

“Good Morning America” averages 2.688 million Total Viewers, 467,000 Adults 25-54 and 320,000 Adults 18-49 for the week of Dec. 29, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” posted week-to-week gains in Adults 25-54 (+6% – 467,000 vs. 440,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% – 320,000 vs. 314,000), hitting 4-week highs in both measures — since w/o 12/1/25.
  • “GMA” turned in increases on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.688 million vs. 2.651 million), Adults 25-54 (+6% – 467,000 vs. 440,000) and Adults 18-49 (+19% – 320,000 vs. 270,000), standing as the only morning newscast to grow year to year across the board.
  • “GMA” narrowed its gaps on the previous week with “Today” in Adults 25-54 (-41% – 94,000 vs. 158,000) and Adults 18-49 (-3% – 85,000 vs. 84,000), posting its closest performance in 4 weeks — since w/o 12/1/25.
  • “GMA” decreased its margins with “Today” on the year-ago week by double digits in Adults 25-54 (-47% – 94,000 vs. 178,000) and Adults 18-49 (-37% – 85,000 vs. 134,000).
  • “GMA” (2.688 million, 467,000 and 320,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.661 million, 231,000 and 163,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.027 million), Adults 25-54 (+236,000) and Adults 18-49 (+157,000). “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,407 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

NOTE: On Monday (12/29/25) and Friday (1/2/26), “Good Morning America” was retitled to “GMA-ABC.” On Wednesday (12/31/25) and Thursday (1/1/26), “Good Morning America,” “CBS Mornings” and NBC’s “Today” were coded as specials. On Friday, “CBS Morning” was retitled to “CBS Morn” and “Today” was retitled to “Today-TS.” The retitled and specialed telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. ABC’s weekly averages are based on one day (Tuesday), while CBS’ and NBC’s weekly averages are based on two days (Monday and Tuesday).

“GMA3” averaged 1.507 million Total Viewers, 142,000 Women 25-54 and 117,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Dec. 29, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading “NBC News Daily” in Women 18-49.

  • “GMA3” posted week-to-week gains in Total Viewers (+8% – 1.507 million vs. 1.395 million), Women 25-54 (+27% – 142,000 vs. 112,000) and Women 18-49 (29% – 117,000 vs. 911,000), drawing its largest overall audience in 9 months — since w/o 3/31/25.
  • “GMA3” saw gains on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+2% – 1.507 million vs. 1.480 million) and Women 18-49 (+8% – 117,000 vs. 108,000).
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+2% – 1.354 million vs. 1.380 million) and Women 18-49 (+10% – 98,000 vs. 89,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

NOTE: On Wednesday (12/31/25) and Thursday (1/1/25), “GMA3” was coded as specials. The specialed telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. ABC’s weekly averages are based on three days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).
