‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ DRAWS ITS LARGEST TOTAL AUDIENCE IN TWO YEARS WITH MORE THAN 3 MILLION VIEWERS

“Good Morning America” averages 3.065 million Total Viewers, 527,000 Adults 25-54 and 352,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of Jan. 26, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “GMA” saw across-the-board gains from the previous week: Total Viewers (+7% – 3.065 million vs. 2.863 million), Adults 25-54 (+3% – 527,000 vs. 510,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% – 352,000 vs. 339,000), attracting its largest overall audience in nearly 2 years — since w/o 4/22/24.
- “GMA” posted year increases on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+8% – 3.065 million vs. 2.851 million), Adults 25-54 (+7% – 527,000 vs. 491,000) and Adults 18-49 (+17% – 352,000 vs. 300,000), standing as the only morning newscast to grow year to year in all key target demos.
- “GMA” turned in its two most-watched telecasts on Monday (3.135 million on 1/26/26) and Tuesday (3.128 million on 1/27/26) in over 1 year — since 11/6/24, the day after the presidential election.
- On Thursday (1/28/26), “GMA” delivered its top telecast in Adults 25-54 (599,000) and Adults 18-49 (430,000) over 1 year — since 1/14/25.
- “GMA” cut its margins with “Today” on the year-ago week in Adults 25-54 (-32% – 125,000 vs. 185,000) and Adults 18-49 (-29% – 84,000 vs. 119,000).
- “GMA” (3.065 million, 527,000 and 352,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.833 million, 285,000 and 188,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.232 million), Adults 25-54 (+242,000) and Adults 18-49 (+164,000), posting its largest overall viewer lead in nearly 7 years — since w/o 2/25/19. In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,411 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

- “GMA3” posted double-digit gains week-to-week in Total Viewers (+19% – 1.763 million vs. 1.481 million), Women 25-54 (+13% – 147,000 vs. 130,000) and Women 18-49 (22% – 113,000 vs. 93,000), posting its most-watched week in over 1 year — since w/o 1/6/25.
- On Monday (1/26/26), “GMA3” scored its most-watched telecast (2.036 million) in nearly 2 years — since 4/8/24.
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+5% – 1.431 million vs. 1.368 million), Women 25-54 (+2% – 128,000 vs. 126,000) and Women 18-49 (+15% – 102,000 vs. 89,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
