‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS WEEK TO WEEK AND YEAR OVER YEAR ACROSS THE BOARD

‘GMA’ Hits 5-Week High in Key Adult News Demo, Narrowing Margins With ‘Today’ Over Previous Week

For the 1,428th Consecutive Week, ‘GMA’ Leads ‘CBS Mornings’ in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

‘GMA3’ Leads ‘NBC News Daily’ in Total Viewers and Women 18-49 for the 4th Season Running

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.702 million Total Viewers, 470,000 Adults 25-54 and 329,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of June 1, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” improved week to week in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.702 million vs. 2.678 million), Adults 25-54 (+11% – 470,000 vs. 425,000) and Adults 18-49 (+15% – 329,000 vs. 285,000), hitting a 5-week high in the key Adult news demo — since w/o 4/27/26.
  • “GMA” saw increases on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.702 million vs. 2.617 million), Adults 25-54 (+7% – 470,000 vs. 441,000) and Adults 18-49 (+18% – 329,000 vs. 280,000).
  • “GMA” narrowed its margins with “Today” compared to the previous week in Adults 25-54 (-1% – 170,000 vs. 172,000) and Adults 18-49 (-21% – 92,000 vs. 117,000).
  • “GMA” (2.702 million, 470,000 and 329,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.693 million, 285,000 and 176,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.009 million), Adults 25-54 (+185,000) and Adults 18-49 (+153,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,428 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
  • Season to date, “GMA” is up in Total Viewers (2.854 million vs. 2.845 million) compared to the same point last year.

  • “GMA3” turned in gains week to week in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.319 million vs. 1.245 million), hitting a 4-week high — since w/o 5/4/26.
  • “GMA3” improved the same week last year in Total Viewers (+4% – 1.319 million vs. 1.269 million), Women 25-54 (+19% – 126,000 vs. 106,000) and Women 18-49 (+34% – 103,000 vs. 77,000).
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+5% – 1.424 million vs. 1.358 million) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 101,000 vs. 90,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
