‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS WEEK TO WEEK AND YEAR TO YEAR ACROSS THE BOARD

‘GMA’ Delivers Its Strongest Adults 18-49 Performance in 2 Years and Narrows Margins With ‘Today’ in Key Adult Demos

For the 1,423rd Consecutive Week, ‘GMA’ Leads ‘CBS Mornings’ in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.924 million Total Viewers, 508,000 Adults 25-54 and 376,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of April 20, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA” improved week to week in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.924 million vs. 2.885 million), Adults 25-54 (+5% – 508,000 vs. 483,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% – 376,000 vs. 345,000). “GMA” turned in its best Adults 18-49 performance in 2 years — since w/o 4/22/24.
  • “GMA” saw gains on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+4% – 2.924 million vs. 2.808 million), Adults 25-54 (+6% – 508,000 vs. 481,000) and Adults 18-49 (+31% – 376,000 vs. 288,000).
  • On Friday (4/24/26), “GMA” ranked No. 1, leading NBC’s “Today” in Total Viewers (+89,000 – 2.957 million vs. 2.868 million).
  • “GMA” narrowed its margin with NBC’s “Today” on the previous week in Adults 25-54 (-10% – 131,000 vs. 146,000) and Adults 18-49 (-23% – 41,000 vs. 53,000).
  • “GMA” (2.924 million, 508,000 and 376,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.756 million, 310,000 and 212,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.168 million), Adults 25-54 (+198,000) and Adults 18-49 (+164,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,423 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

  • “GMA3” was up week to week in Total Viewers (+1% – 1.341 million vs. 1.326 million).
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.448 million vs. 1.370 million) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 101,000 vs. 90,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
