‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS WEEK TO WEEK AND YEAR TO YEAR ACROSS THE BOARD
On Monday, ‘Good Morning America’ Delivers Its Largest Post-Oscars® Telecast in Three Years Across Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49
‘GMA’ Surpasses NBC in Total Viewers on Wednesday and Friday and Has Led CBS in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for 1,418 Consecutive Weeks Overall

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.964 million Total Viewers, 500,000 Adults 25-54 and 347,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of March 16, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “GMA” improved on the previous week in Total Viewers (+4% – 2.964 million vs. 2.838 million), Adults 25-54 (+11% – 500,000 vs. 452,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% – 347,000 vs. 334,000).
- “GMA” saw gains on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+6% – 2.964 million vs. 2.808 million), Adults 25-54 (+3% – 500,000 vs. 484,000) and Adults 18-49 (+23% – 347,000 vs. 282,000).
- On Monday (3/16/26), “GMA”’s post-Oscars telecast scored increases over its year-ago post-Oscars telecast (3/3/25) in Total Viewers (+8% – 3.280 million vs. 3.049 million), Adults 25-54 (+23% – 627,000 vs. 508,000) and Adults 18-49 (+38% – 457,000 vs. 331,000). In fact, “GMA” turned in its strongest post-Oscars telecast in all key target demos in 3 years — since 3/13/23.
- In addition, “GMA”’s Monday airing scored the program’s top Adults 25-54 (627,000) telecast in over 1 year and best Adults 18-49 (457,000) delivery in nearly 2 years — since 1/14/25 and 4/12/24, respectively.
- “GMA” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers, leading NBC’s “Today” on Wednesday (+17,000 – 3.011 million vs. 2.994 million) and Friday (+61,000 – 2.888 million vs. 2.827 million).
- “GMA” (2.964 million, 500,000 and 347,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.713 million, 264,000 and 185,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.211 million), Adults 25-54 (+236,000) and Adults 18-49 (+162,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,418 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

“GMA3” averaged 1.587 million Total Viewers, 131,000 Women 25-54 and 106,000 Women 18-49 during the week of March 16, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers and Women 18-49.
- “GMA3” was up over the previous week in Total Viewers (+8% – 1.587 million vs. 1.473 million) and Women 18-49 (+1% – 106,000 vs. 105,000), hitting a 6-week high in overall viewers — w/o 2/2/26.
- “GMA3” improved on the same week last year across the board: Total Viewers (+4% – 1.587 million vs. 1.530 million), Women 25-54 (+1% – 131,000 vs. 130,000) and Women 18-49 (+8% – 106,000 vs. 98,000).
- On Monday (3/16/26), “GMA3”turned in its most-watched telecast (1.947 million) in 7 weeks — since 1/26/26.
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+5% – 1.459 million vs. 1.385 million) and Women 18-49 (+15% – 102,000 vs. 89,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
