‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS YEAR TO YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49 FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK
‘GMA’ Is Up in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, Season to Date
‘GMA’ Outdelivers CBS Across the Board for the Week, Leads in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the Last 1,438 Weeks

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.729 million Total Viewers, 444,000 Adults 25-54 and 318,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of Aug. 3, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, finishing neck and neck with NBC’s “Today” (2.730 million) in overall viewers.
- For the second week in a row, “GMA” increased on the year-ago week in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+6% – 2.729 million vs. 2.571 million), Adults 25-54 (+5% – 444,000 vs. 424,000) and Adults 18-49 (+12% – 318,000 vs. 284,000).
- “GMA” (2.729 million, 444,000 and 318,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings”(1.621 million, 255,000 and 177,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.108 million), Adults 25-54 (+189,000) and Adults 18-49 (+141,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,438 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
- Season to date, “GMA” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.843 million vs. 2.808 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% – 332,000 vs. 304,000) compared to the same point last year.

“GMA3” averaged 1.280 million Total Viewers, 118,000 Women 25-54 and 93,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Aug. 3, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “GMA3” saw week-to-week increases in Women 25-54 (+1% – 118,000 vs. 117,000) and Women 18-49 (+22% – 93,000 vs. 76,000).
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+1% – 1.420 million vs. 1.404 million) and Women 18-49 (+3% – 99,000 vs. 96,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
