‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS YEAR TO YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49 FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
‘GMA’ Narrows Its Gap With ‘Today’ Week to Week and Year to Year in Adults 18-49
For the 1,425th Consecutive Week, ‘GMA’ Leads ‘CBS Mornings’ in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.892 million Total Viewers, 467,000 Adults 25-54 and 334,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of May 4, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- For the fourth straight week, “GMA” saw year-to-year gains in Total Viewers (+4% – 2.892 million vs. 2.791 million) and Adults 18-49 (+15% – 334,000 vs. 291,000).
- On Tuesday (5/5/26), “GMA” ranked No. 1, beating NBC’s “Today” in Total Viewers (+29,000 – 2.987 million vs. 2.958 million).
- “GMA” cut its Adults 18-49 margins with NBC’s “Today” both week to week (-23% – 43,000 vs. 56,000) and year to year (-47% – 43,000 vs. 81,000).
- “GMA” (2.892 million, 467,000 and 334,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.834 million, 303,000 and 205,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.058 million), Adults 25-54 (+164,000) and Adults 18-49(+129,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,425 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

“GMA3” averaged 1.362 million Total Viewers, 130,000 Women 25-54 and 103,000 Women 18-49 during the week of May 4, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, beating “NBC News Daily” across the board.
- “GMA3” saw week-to-week increases across the board: Total Viewers (+4% – 1.362 million vs. 1.310 million), Women 25-54 (+7% – 130,000 vs. 121,000) and Women 18-49 (+7% – 103,000 vs. 96,000), hitting a 7-week high in Women 25-54 — since w/o 3/16/26.
- “GMA3” improved on the same week last year in Women 25-54 (+9% – 130,000 vs. 119,000) and Women 18-49 (+5% – 103,000 vs. 98,000).
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.440 million vs. 1.363 million) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 101,000 vs. 90,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
