‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS YEAR TO YEAR IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND ADULTS 18-49 FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
‘GMA’ Leads ‘CBS Mornings’ in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the 1,440th Consecutive Week
Season to Date, ‘GMA’ Is Up in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 Compared to the Same Point Last Year

“Good Morning America”
“Good Morning America” averaged 2.738 million Total Viewers, 440,000 Adults 25-54 and 301,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of Aug. 17, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- For the sixth straight week, “GMA” improved on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+5% – 2.738 million vs. 2.608 million) and Adults 18-49 (+11% – 301,000 vs. 270,000).
- “GMA” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers, leading “Today” on Wednesday (+40,000 – 2.781 million vs. 2.741 million) and Friday (+80,000 – 2.854 million vs. 2.774 million).
- “GMA” (2.738 million, 440,000 and 301,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.602 million, 258,000 and 182,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.136 million), Adults 25-54 (+182,000) and Adults 18-49 (+119,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,440 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
- Season to date, “GMA” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.839 million vs. 2.799 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% – 332,000 vs. 303,000) compared to the same point last year.

“GMA3” averaged 1.357 million Total Viewers, 105,000 Women 25-54 and 72,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Aug. 17, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- For the second week in a row, “GMA3” saw Total Viewer gains both week to week (+3% – 1.357 million vs. 1.319 million) and year to year (+6% – 1.357 million vs. 1.281 million). “GMA3” hit a 4-week high in Total Viewers — since w/o 7/20/26.
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” Women 18-49 (+1% – 98,000 vs. 97,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
