‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ RANKS #1 IN TOTAL VIEWERS

‘GMA’ Delivers Largest Lead Over NBC in Eight Weeks and Increases Margin Week to Week by +52%

‘GMA’ Narrows Its Year-to-Year Margins With ‘Today’ by Double Digits in Adults 25–54 and Adults 18–49

“Good Morning America” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.850 million) for the week of Dec. 8, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.  “GMA” beats NBC’s “Today” (2.800 million)  by its largest lead  in 8 weeks — since w/o 10/13/25 and increases its margin versus the previous week by 52% (50,000 vs. 33,000).

  • “GMA” narrowed its year-to-year margins with “Today” by double digits in Adults 25-54 (-30% – 138,000 vs. 198,000) and Adults 18-49 (-23% – 121,000 vs. 158,000).
  • “GMA” (2.850 million, 462,000 and 287,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.964 million, 307,000 and 201,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+886,000), Adults 25-54 (+155,000) and Adults 18-49 (+86,000). “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,404 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

“GMA3” averaged 1.456 million Total Viewers, 121,000 Women 25-54 and 91,000 Women 18-49 during the week of Dec. 8, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, leading “NBC News Daily” in all key target demos.

  • For the second week in a row, “GMA3” was up over the previous week in Total Viewers (+11% – 1.456 million vs. 1.446 million), posting its most-watched week in over 8 months — w/o 3/31/25.
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+3% – 1.363 million vs. 1.318 million) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 96,000 vs. 86,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
