‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ RANKS NO. 1 IN TOTAL VIEWERS WITH LARGEST AUDIENCE IN 4 WEEKS
‘GMA’ Shows Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year Gains Across the Board for the Third Consecutive Week
‘GMA’ Outperforms CBS in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the 1,439th Consecutive Week

“Good Morning America”
“Good Morning America” ranked as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (2.772 million) during the week of Aug. 10, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “GMA” improved on the previous week in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+2% – 2.772 million vs. 2.729 million), Adults 25-54 (+4% – 462,000 vs. 444,000) and Adults 18-49 (+6% – 338,000 vs. 318,000), hitting a 4-week high in overall viewers — since w/o 7/13/26.
- For the third consecutive week, “GMA” posted across-the-board increases on the year-ago week: Total Viewers (+8% – 2.772 million vs. 2.571 million), Adults 25-54 (+10% – 462,000 vs. 419,000) and Adults 18-49 (+25% – 338,000 vs. 271,000).
- “GMA” narrowed its margins with “Today” by double digits compared to the previous week in both Adults 25-54 (-16% – 124,000 vs. 148,000) and Adults 18-49 (-46% – 27,000 vs. 50,000).
- “GMA” (2.772 million, 462,000 and 338,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.707 million, 274,000 and 192,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.065 million), Adults 25-54 (+188,000) and Adults 18-49 (+146,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,439 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
- Season to date, “GMA” is up in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.841 million vs. 2.803 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% – 333,000 vs. 303,000) compared to the same point last year.

- “GMA3” turned in Total Viewer increases both week to week (+3% – 1.319 million vs. 1.280 million) and year to year (+7% – 1.319 million vs. 1.236 million).
- Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+1% – 1.418 million vs. 1.408 million) and Women 18-49 (+1% – 98,000 vs. 97,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.
