Monday, Sept. 7 — TBA
Tuesday, Sept. 8 — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) (“Going Further: The Incomparable Clarence Thomas”); author and former professional boxer Laila Ali (“A Spark of Greatness: The Autobiography of a Fighter”); Prime Focus, with Aaron Katersky, on how New York City is still working to formally identify all of the nearly 3,000 people killed at the World Trade Center and how for the first time the city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the NYPD Detective Bureau have identified a 9/11 victim using genetic genealogy
Wednesday, Sept. 9 — Former Windows on the World worker; Prime Focus, with Pierre Thomas, speaks exclusively with a former FBI special agent who was part of the evidence response team at the Pentagon in the wake of 9/11 and who is still in a fight against cancer linked to his exposure to the dangerous materials
Thursday, Sept. 10 —Prime Focus, with Stephanie Ramos, on how the 9/11 boat lift from Manhattan revolutionized modern emergency planning by showing that commercial and private vessels are a vital lifeline during disasters, with agencies like the U.S. Coast Guard integrating regional mariners into formal disaster frameworks
Friday, Sept. 11 — Actress Sherri Shephard (“Angel in the Rubble”); Prime Focus, with Linsey Davis, speaks to three attendees of America’s Camp, which was created for children who lost their parents on 9/11, who, now as young adults, reconnect with one of the camp’s directors
ABC News Live will air special coverage marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Tune in to ABC News Live for a special edition of “Prime,” “Paying Tribute: Live from Lower Manhattan” at 7:30 p.m. EDT, where Davis will be joined by WABC anchors Mike Marza and Sade Baderinwa.
At 8 p.m. EDT, stay tuned for “9/11 Tribute in Light: Live from Lower Manhattan,” a one-hour ABC News multiplatform live special across ABC, Disney+, Hulu, National Geographic, ABC Owned Television Stations livestreams and ABC News Live. “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir, “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts and anchor Diane Sawyer will lead the broadcast live from New York City. The special is produced in collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
