Nearly two decades after Michael King was convicted for the murder of 21-year-old mother Denise Amber Lee, he was executed in March with Denise’s husband and son in attendance. This Friday, “20/20” revisits the case of this young mother who was kidnapped and murdered following a series of chilling 911 calls, including new interviews with Denise’s husband and son following that execution. “20/20” co-anchor Deborah Roberts reports in the all-new episode “Her Last Call,” FRIDAY, JUNE 19 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC and streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

Denise Amber Lee disappeared from her North Port, Florida, home, and when her husband came home from work that day, he found the couple’s two young children unattended and frantically called 911. Denise’s father, a veteran sheriff’s detective, joined the search to find his daughter. Soon after her disappearance, clues began to emerge in real time through a series of chilling 911 calls — including one from Denise herself, made with her abductor’s cellphone. Over the next few hours, witnesses began calling 911 with tips, including a critical call from an eyewitness that her family believes could have possibly saved Denise’s life.
