SEASON TO DATE, ‘THE VIEW’ RANKS NO. 1 IN HOUSEHOLDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS, IMPROVES IN ALL KEY TARGET DEMOS, SEEING ITS LARGEST WOMEN NUMBERS IN 3 YEARS
‘The View’ Posts Gains Across the Board Year to Year
‘The View’ Sees Increases Week to Week in Total Viewers and Women 18-49

For the week of Sept. 21, 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.63 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.426 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.26 rtg. and 1.989 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.88 rtg. and 1.373 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (1.02 rtg. and 1.593 million, respectively).
- In addition, “The View” averaged 207,000 Women 25-54 and 165,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “The View” improved the same week last year across the board: Total Viewers (+1% – 2.426 million vs. 2.404 million), Women 25-54 (+7% – 207,000 vs. 194,000) and Women 18-49 (+17% – 165,000 vs. 141,000).
- “The View” posted week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (+4% – 2.426 million vs. 2.342 million) and Women 18-49 (+1% – 165,000 vs. 164,000).
- Season to date, “The View” is improving in Total Viewers (+3% – 2.496 million vs. 2.416 million), Women 25-54 (+10% – 218,000 vs. 199,000) and Women 18-49 (+10% – 172,000 vs. 146,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season to post its strongest key Women numbers in 3 years — since the 2023-2024 season.
- Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.67 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.496 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 10th straight season.
NOTE: On Tuesday (9/22/26), “The View” was retitled to “View-ABC.” The retitled telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “The View”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Monday, Wednesday-Friday).
