‘THE VIEW’ DRAWS ITS LARGEST OVERALL PREMIERE WEEK AUDIENCE IN 6 YEARS
‘The View’ Sees Its Strongest Premiere Week Performance in Women 18-49 in 4 Years and Women 25-54 in 3 Years
On Tuesday, the Season 30 Premiere Episode Improves Year to Year in Total Viewers, Delivering Its Most-Watched Season Premiere in 6 Years

ABC’s “The View” kicked off Season 30 with a premiere week averaging 2.518 million Total Viewers, 208,000 Women 25-54 and 173,000 Women 18-49, for the week of Sept. 7, 2026, based on Live + Same Day, Big Data + Panel Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “The View” grew from the prior year’s premiere week for the second year in a row in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+8% – 2.518 million vs. 2.324 million), Women 25-54 (+7% – 208,000 vs. 174,000) and Women 18-49 (+15% – 173,000 vs. 151,000). “The View” drew its largest overall audience during a premiere week in 6 years – since the 2020-2021 season. In addition, “The View” delivered its strongest premiere week performance in 4 years in Women 18-49 and in 3 years in Women 25-54 — since the 2022-2023 and the 2023-2024 seasons, respectively.
- On Tuesday (9/8/26), the season premiere of “The View” improved on the year-ago season premiere telecast (9/08/25) in Total Viewers (2.607 million vs. 2.602 million) to deliver its most-watched season premiere in 6 years — since 9/8/20.
