‘THE VIEW’ RANKS NO. 1 IN HOUSEHOLDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL DAYTIME NETWORK TALK SHOWS

‘The View’ Delivers Its 2nd-Most-Watched Week of the Season and the 2nd-Most-Watched Week in Over 1 Year

For the 3rd Week in a Row, ‘The View’ Posts Year-to-Year Gains Across the Board and Sees Double-Digit Increases in Both Key Women Demos

For the week of Feb. 2, 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.89 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.796 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.55 rtg. and 2.376 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (1.06 rtg. and 1.603 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (1.07 rating and 1.579 million, respectively).

  • In addition, “The View” averaged 232,000 Women 25-54 and 171,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
  • The View” delivered its 2nd-most-watched week (2.796 million) of the season, behind only the previous week. In fact, it was “The View”’s 2nd-most-watched week in over 1 year — since w/o 11/4/24, the week of the presidential election.
  • For the 3rd week in a row, “The View” posted year-to-year gains in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+4% – 2.796 million vs. 2.698 million), Women 25-54 (+23% – 232,000 vs. 189,000) and Women 18-49 (+29% – 171,000 vs. 133,000).
  • Season to date, “The View” is improving in Women 25-54 (+5% – 223,000 vs. 213,000) and Women 18-49 (+1% – 164,000 vs. 163,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season.
  • Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.69 rating) and Total Viewers (2.557 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 9th straight season.

NOTE: On Thursday (2/5/26), “The View” was retitled to “View-ABC.” The retitled telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “The View”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Wednesday and Friday).
