‘THE VIEW’ RANKS NO. 1 IN HOUSEHOLDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL DAYTIME NETWORK TALK SHOWS
‘The View’ Sees Year-to-Year Gains Across the Board
Season to Date, ‘The View’ Sees Gains in Women 25-54, Ranking No. 1 in Households and Total Viewers Among All Broadcast Daytime Talk Shows

For the week of Jan. 19, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.70 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.562 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.43 rtg. and 2.184 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.96 rtg. and 1.451 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (0.98 rating and 1.445 million, respectively).
- In addition, “The View” averaged 217,000 Women 25-54 and 153,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “The View” turned in year-ago gains in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.562 million vs. 2.544 million), Women 25-54 (+7% – 217,000 vs. 203,000) and Women 18-49 (+5% – 153,000 vs. 146,000).
- Season to date, “The View” is improving in Women 25-54 (+2% – 218,000 vs. 214,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season.
- Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.65 rating) and Total Viewers (2.529 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 9th straight season.
