‘THE VIEW’ RANKS NO. 1 IN HOUSEHOLDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL DAYTIME NETWORK TALK SHOWS
‘The View’ Hits Season Highs in All Key Target Demos With Double-Digit Gains Across the Board Week to Week and Year to Year To Post Strongest Numbers in Over a Year
‘The View’ Posts Its 2nd-Most-Watched Week in Nearly 5 Years

For the week of Jan. 26, 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (2.02 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.988 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.55 rtg. and 2.356 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (1.07 rtg. and 1.622 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (1.05 rating and 1.554 million, respectively).
- In addition, “The View” averaged 281,000 Women 25-54 and 206,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- Hitting season highs across the board, “The View” posted double-digit gains week to week in Total Viewers (+17% – 2.988 million vs. 2.562 million), Women 25-54 (+29% – 281,000 vs. 217,000) and Women 18-49 (+35% – 206,000 vs. 153,000) to score strongest numbers in more than 1 year — since w/o 11/4/24, the week of the presidential election. In fact, “The View” posted its 2nd-most-watched week in nearly 5 years — since w/o 2/15/21.
- “The View” built on the year-ago week by double digits in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+11% – 2.988 million vs. 2.702 million), Women 25-54 (+41% – 281,000 vs. 199,000) and Women 18-49 (+43% – 206,000 vs. 144,000).
- Season to date, “The View” is improving in Women 25-54 (+4% – 222,000 vs. 214,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season.
- Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.68 rating) and Total Viewers (2.562 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 9th straight season.
