‘THE VIEW’ RANKS NO. 1 IN HOUSEHOLDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL DAYTIME NETWORK TALK SHOWS, POSTING GAINS IN BOTH KEY WOMEN DEMOS SEASON TO DATE
‘The View’ Turns in Double-Digit Increases Week to Week in Both Key Women Demos, Delivering Its 2nd-Best Performance of the Season and Its 2nd-Strongest Performance in Over 1 Year in Both Demos
For the 5th Week Running, ‘The View’ Posts Year-to-Year Gains Across the Board

For the week of Feb. 16, 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.83 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.709 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.45 rtg. and 2.161 million, respectively) and “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.93 rtg. and 1.387 million, respectively).
- In addition, “The View” averaged 262,000 Women 25-54 and 198,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- “The View” turned in double-digit increases versus the previous week in Women 25-54 (+13% – 262,000 vs. 232,000) and Women 18-49 (+18% – 198,000 vs. 168,000), delivering its 2nd-best numbers of the season and its 2nd-strongest performance in over 1 year in both key Women demos — since w/o 11/4/24, the week of the presidential election.
- For the 5th week running, “The View” posted year-to-year gains in Total Viewers (+1% – 2.709 million vs. 2.684 million), Women 25-54 (+24% – 262,000 vs. 212,000) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 198,000 vs. 177,000).
- Season to date, “The View” is improving in Women 25-54 (+6% – 226,000 vs. 213,000) and Women 18-49 (+2% – 167,000 vs. 164,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season.
- Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.71 rating) and Total Viewers (2.603 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 9th straight season.
NOTE: On Friday (2/20/26), “The View” was retitled to “View-ABC.” The retitled telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “The View”’s weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).
