‘The View’ Delivers Its Most-Watched 2nd Quarter in 6 Years, Improving on the Year-Ago Quarter in All Key Target Demos
‘The View’ Posts Increases Across the Board Year to Year for the 4th Consecutive Week

ABC’s “The View” delivered 2.588 million Total Viewers, 221,000 Women 25-54 and 168,000 Women 18-49 during the 2nd Quarter of 2026, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “The View” improved on the year-ago quarter (2Q25) across the board: Total Viewers (+3% – 2.588 million vs. 2.521 million), Women 25-54 (+11% – 221,000 vs. 200,000) and Women 18-49 (+14% – 168,000 vs. 147,000), delivering its most-watched 2nd quarter in 6 years — since 2Q20.
- For the 2nd quarter, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.72 rating) and Total Viewers (2.588 million) among the daytime network talk shows and news programs, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.31 rating and 2.034 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.91 rating and 1.445 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (0.89 rating and 1.349 million, respectively).
Week of June 22, 2026
For the week of June 22, 2026, “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households (1.71 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.583 million) among the daytime network talk shows, leading NBC’s “TODAY Third Hour” (1.32 rtg. and 2.100 million, respectively), “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” (0.89 rtg. and 1.454 million, respectively) and “NBC News Daily” (1.02 rtg. and 1.592 million, respectively).
- In addition, “The View” averaged 232,000 Women 25-54 and 167,000 Women 18-49, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- For the fourth straight week, “The View” improved on the same week last year across the board: Total Viewers (+6% – 2.583 million vs. 2.430 million), Women 25-54 (+15% – 232,000 vs. 201,000) and Women 18-49 (+12% – 167,000 vs. 149,000).
- Season to date, “The View” is improving in Women 25-54 (+8% – 226,000 vs. 210,000) and Women 18-49 (+6% – 169,000 vs. 159,000) versus the comparable number of weeks last season to its strongest in 3 years — since the 2022-2023 season. In addition, “The View” stands as the only daytime talk show to grow in both key Women measures.
- Season to date, “The View” is ranking No. 1 in Households (1.74 rtg.) and Total Viewers (2.622 million) among all broadcast daytime talk shows for the 9th straight season.
