‘This Week’ Is #1 in Total Viewers for the 12th Consecutive Week, Marking the Program’s Longest Run at No. 1 in More Than 2 ½ Years

 

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.691 million) for the 12th week in a row, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

• “This Week”’s Total Viewer win marked the program’s longest run at No. 1 in more than 2 ½ years — since 6/18/23 – 9/3/23.
• “This Week” grew week to week in Adults 25-54 (+4% – 349,000 vs. 335,000).
• For the third straight week, “This Week” improved on the year-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+10% – 2.691 million vs. 2.436 million).
• Season to date, “This Week” ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.797 million) for the 5th season in a row, leading NBC’s “Meet the Press” (2.622 million) and CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 (2.747 million), based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings. In addition, “This Week” is beating the NBC program by its largest overall viewer lead (+175,000) in 30 years — since the 1995-1996 season.
