‘This Week’ Wins Sunday in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

3rd Quarter 2026:
ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” won the 3rd Quarter of 2026 in Total Viewers (2.617 million) and Adults 18-49 (273,000), based on Most Current Big Data + Panel Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

- “This Week”’s victory marked the third quarter in a row to lead in Total Viewers – since 1Q26.

- “This Week” turned in gains versus the year-ago quarter in Total Viewers (+9% – 2.617 million vs. 2.411 million), Adults 25-54 (+5% – 352,000 vs. 335,00) and Adults 18-49 (+21% – 273,000 vs. 226,000). “The Week” stood as the only Sunday public affairs program to grow across the board from the same quarter last year.

- “This Week” improved on the previous quarter (2Q26) in Adults 25-54 (+1% – 352,000 vs. 350,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% – 273,000 vs. 256,000), marking the only Sunday public affairs program to grow in the key Adult demos.

- “This Week” (2.617 million, 352,000 and 273,000 respectively) delivered its largest margins over CBS’ “Face the Nation” (2.417 million, 292,000 and 217,000 respectively) in Total Viewers (+200,000) and Adults 25-54 (+60,000) in 2 years and biggest advantage in Adults 18-49 (+56,000) in 4 years – since 3Q24 and 3Q22, respectively.

On Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 across the board: Total Viewers (2.466 million), Adults 25-54 (348,000) and Adults 18-49 (274,000), based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
- For the second week in a row, “This Week” improved on the year-ago telecast in Total Viewers (+6% – 2.466 million vs. 2.322 million) and Adults 18-49(+4% – 274,000 vs. 264,000).
