WITH 2.9 MILLION VIEWERS, ‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ GROWS WEEK TO WEEK IN ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49

‘GMA’ Narrows Gap With ‘Today’ in Adults 25-54, Delivering Its Closest Demo Performance in Six Weeks

‘GMA’ Extends Streak to 1,421 Consecutive Weeks Leading CBS in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

“Good Morning America” averaged 2.898 million Total Viewers, 493,000 Adults 25-54 and 352,0000 Adults 18-49 for the week of April 6, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

  • “GMA3” saw week-to-week gains in Women 25-54(+4% – 493,000 vs. 475,000) and Women 18-49 (+4% – 352,000 vs. 340,000).
  • “GMA” cut its Adults 25-54 gap with “Today” week to week (-2% – 137,000 vs. 140,000) to its closest performance in 6 weeks — since w/o 2/23/26.
  • On Friday (4/10/26), “GMA” ranked No. 1, leading NBC’s “Today” in Total Viewers (+61,000 – 2.901 million vs. 2.840 million) and taking the top spot on the day for the third time in the last four weeks.
  • “GMA” (2.898 million, 493,000 and 352,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Mornings” (1.470 million, 251,000 and 170,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+1.158 million), Adults 25-54 (+242,000) and Adults 18-49 (+182,000). In addition, “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,421 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.

“GMA3” averaged 1.397 million Total Viewers, 124,000 Women 25-54 and 101,000 Women 18-49 during the week of April 6, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research, beating “NBC News Daily” across the board.

  • “GMA3” improved on the previous week by double digits in Women 25-54 (+20% – 124,000 vs. 103,000) and Women 18-49 (+10% – 101,000 vs. 92,000).
  • Season to date, “GMA3” is beating “NBC News Daily” in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.457 million vs. 1.377 million) and Women 18-49 (+15% – 102,000 vs. 89,000) for the 4th straight season, based on Most Current Big Data+Panel Ratings.

NOTE: On Monday (4/6/26), “NBC News Daily” was retitled to “NBC News Daily-ND.” The retitled telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. “NBC News Daily”’s weekly average is based on four days (Tuesday-Friday).
